Arizona bans anti-capitalism in schools

Now I'm no raving anti-capitalist revolutionary, however, I do like debate. This is what the Arizona state legislature is trying to do. Absurd. Actually retarded.
The important clause is this:

A public school in this state shall not include within the program of instruction any courses, classes or school sponsored activities that promote, assert as truth or feature as an exclusive focus any political, religious, ideological or cultural beliefs or values that denigrate, disparage or overtly ENCOURAGE dissent from the values of American democracy and western civilization, including democracy, capitalism, pluralism and religious toleration.

What fucking balls. How ridiculous. Land of the Free? Anyone.

Come on Big Mac stand up and tell the world how stupid this is. Its your state. If anything, this is "unamerican" not some lefty windbag teaching about the evils of capitalism. In fact, how would you even define capitalism. Would Joseph Stiglitz's Globalisation and its Discontents be banned? What about Klein's The Shock Doctrine?

Who gets to define what is "western civilisation"? What about Marcuse, or Gramsci, or Marx, or even Harriet "hero of the left" Harman? Are they outside "western civilization"?

This is honestly the most idiotic law I've seen or heard about this week.
