The BNP are a racist party. It is undeniable. The evidence is endless. However, Irfan Ahmed uses a dreadful argument to prove the point. He argues that a poll on the BNP website where the majority of respondents said that Sharia law should be introduced into the UK when "pigs fly". He says this makes them fascist. Well excuse me. I don't want Sharia law either, or any kind of theocratic based legal system. That does not make me a fascist. Not one bit. Sorry Irfan but if that's your definition of fascist then about 90 something % of Britain are fascists. I'm not so sure that's the case.

Well Irfan has made a mistake but come dont go tough on him he is a young teenager who does make mistakes no one is perfect who ever blog.So Irfan we want a public apology.
Irfan - the damage was done yesterday. Perhaps you should have thought your original posting through a little more before making it...

It is a pity that you do not seem to have a comments facility on your blog - you only seem to allow people to debate with you in private by email. Are you afraid of open debate?

Irfan is young - 16 according to his blog, and a new and welcome Lib Dem blogger. Everyone makes mistakes, and he has explined what he meant. We have so few young and ethinic minority bloggers/ party activists. I really welcome Irfan's contribution.
I've written another post on the subject, I hope it clarifies one or two things.
I have removed the most that I did so please anyone that was insulted by the post accepts my humble apology. When I saw the link on the BNP website it really triggered a lot of emotion as a Muslim for me and then the cartoon picture that I saw on this blog and they have really emotionally affected me.
